I was born in Cambodia in 2000 where I was living with my parents. I didn't know what happened but the next thing I am living with my grandmother and my cousin Eva.
Later when I was two years old my grandmother couldn't take care of us no longer so she had a taxi drive us to Phnom Penh to live in an orphanage. A couple months later a women came in and wanted to adopted me. She came and picked me up and I realized I felt safe. But soon she had to let me go but I cried and didn't want her to leave me so she signed some papers and took me home. I had new family.
Years past and I learned how to speak English and made some American friends. I felt right at home. When I was five my mom told me that my real mom died of malaria and my dad died of a motorcycle accident. I started crying but she told me their in a happy place where they can still look after me. I started feeling better.
More years past and I got into a great school. And I still am. I finally got to sixth grade knowing that they are with me. And me and my family lived happily ever after!
